In January, the UKirk College Ministries Board met in Crestwood, KY. While sitting in on some of the retreat and listening to people describe the ups and downs of their ministries, I had one thought over and over again: Thank you to all who minister with young adults. To steal a phrase from Rev. Emily Miller (who does recruitment for the Young Adult Volunteer Program), “thank you for being church.”

We are here to support and uplift you whether you are a young adult or are ministering to young adults. The stories and resources in this newsletter are places to start. If you have questions or concerns or just want to know a bit more about one of the PC(USA) young adult ministries, you’re welcome to reach out to me.

Thank you for being church,
Rev. Emily Morgan
Young Adult Ministry Specialist & UKirk Communications Director
